Since she was a baby, Emma has made us laugh. I love this girl. She doesn't even have to try to be funny or adorable, it's just who she is. This past week, two times she entertained me.
1) "Cottontail"
I asked her what her favorite fruit was. She replied, "Cottontail." I again asked, thinking she was confused, and she replied, "Cottontail." Again, thinking she was confused with Easter and bunnies for some reason, and foolishly not realizing that my smart girl knew exactly what she was replying, I asked her. She ran to the pantry and grabbed fruit cocktail, and said, "See! I like cottontail!!" Cracked me up. She thought I had forgotten what "cottontail" was, so she laughed at me, and I was able to laugh at the precious way she said the word.

2) "Too tired..."
The week goes by so crazily, so usually the weekend is when I make the girls really clean up their room. Saturday morning, it was a mess as usual, and I told them they'd have to clean before going to their birthday party. Lily is good about cleaning, Emma has to be constantly reminded. Usually I am good about catching her excuses, but this morning she was especially tired, especially pathetic and especially convincing when she told me that she was really tired and needed to rest. (I know, I'm a sucker...) So I asked Lily if she minded cleaning alone while Emma went back to sleep in my bed. (Lily prefers to clean alone since Emma tends to get very distracted.) So, I laid Emma in my bed and she looked like she curled right up and passed out. I checked on her a few times- seemed to be asleep. Then, I hear a loud whisper come from my room-
"Lily- come and get me when you are done cleaning!!" So I walk in, and she immediately pretends to be asleep again. I laughed so hard (and so did she, for she felt quite accomplished in fooling Mom), and she proceeded to clean up the rest of the room by herself.

I love her.
